Why I built this
In early 2026, three close friends got laid off in the same month. I watched them stay up past midnight rewriting the same résumé for the 30th time — slightly different keywords, slightly different bullet order, every job. Recruiters wouldn't look twice without an exact match. They were exhausted before the interviews even started.
I'm an engineer. I have AI models on tap. There was no reason any human in 2026 should be doing this work by hand. So I built Offer Max — first as a weekend script for my friends, then properly, into the tool you see today.
What it does
Offer Max is an AI copilot that takes one source of truth — your full career profile — and tailors a fresh résumé, cover letter, and interview prep for every job you apply to. It runs as a Chrome side panel so you stay in your flow: open a job page, click once, get the application package.
What we don't do: sell your data, train AI models on your résumé, lock you into us. Your data is yours, your usage caps are honest, and your invoice is the same in month one as in month twelve.
Who I am
First name Hector. Engineer. I write code, play tennis poorly, and care way too much about typography. Offer Max is currently a one-person operation — me shipping features, replying to support emails, and reading every Reddit thread that mentions it.
If you're using Offer Max and something is broken, slow, or just dumb — please tell me. The fastest fixes I've shipped came from a user emailing me at 11pm.
