Common questions
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?+
No. Sign up with email or Google, and you get 10 lifetime credits per feature. No card required, no auto-charge later.
What does 'lifetime credits' mean for Free?+
Each feature has 10 uses total, not per month. They never reset. When you've used them up, you'll need to upgrade (or redeem an invite code from a friend) to keep going.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?+
Yes — one click in Settings cancels the subscription. You keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then drop back to the Free tier.
What's the difference between Pro and Unlimited?+
Pro is a $8.99/mo subscription where we pay the AI provider — you get monthly limits that cover heavy use, zero setup. Unlimited is a $19.99 one-time fee where you bring your own API key (BYOK) — you pay the provider directly for usage. Unlimited requires a 5-minute setup to add your key. How Unlimited works →
What happens after I buy Unlimited?+
You'll be sent to Settings → BYOK to paste your API key. Until you add a key, Unlimited features will keep hitting the regular quota limits — same as a free user. Read the setup guide first if you haven't already.
Which AI providers does Unlimited support?+
OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini), Anthropic (Claude 3.5 / 3.7), Google (Gemini 2.5 Flash / Pro), DeepSeek, Minimax, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Configure in Settings → BYOK.
Will my data be used to train AI models?+
No. Calls go to the official APIs of Google / Anthropic / OpenAI under their paid-tier terms — they don't train on paid API data. We also don't sell or share your profile. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Do you offer student or hardship discounts?+
Yes — request an invite code via the in-app dialog, or email help@offermax.me with a short note. We approve most genuine requests, especially for active job seekers.
